Himachal Pradesh blossoms with the achievements of girls in +2 boards
Do you agree that a girl fetus can be aborted so thoughtlessly? If someone is pregnant, do think million times before going for a sex determination. You could be a proud father or a grandfather in future.We should we put all efforts to save girl child. To see our next generations, to have love and to achieve progress in life, girls must be saved. In every field of life women are ahead of men. The latest results declared by the Himachal school education board have proved it.
A girl, obviously thought to be less privileged, weaker sex by society, has once again proved it wrong. I am talking about girl who topped H.P. school +2 exams being conducted by HP school education board Dharamshala. Astha , that is her name, residing in Bilaspur, is 2012 topper in Science stream. Anupam also from S.V.P.M. School Ghumarwi in Bilaspur, who is also a topper in arts stream of H.P. Board. She is also a girl child of proud parents.
Even in commerce stream, Tanuja of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Dharamshala is a H.P. state topper. Second and third position in the merit list of +2 is secured by girls namely Khushboo from Bilaspur and Chanchal from Mandi.
Do you still agree that a girl fetus can be aborted so thoughtlessly? If someone is pregnant in your house, it may be your daughter, your daughter in law, your wife or any other woman try to respect her decision of not going through the sex determination test. She has right to disagree. She is the creator of a new life. She is already giving each and every drop of her blood for this. To abort her fetus just because it is a girl, is most painful for a woman. Kindly do not pressurize any woman to throw her dearest baby in the dustbin just because it is a girl child. It is a torture not only physical but mental too.
Your daughters or your grand daughters could be a reason to feel proud in future,just like Aastha and Tanuja . She could become an astronaut like Kalpana Chawla, she could be an IPS officer like Ms. Kiran Bedi, she could be the first citizen of the country like Ms. Pratibha Patil. Do not keep her from exploring her potential. After all girls take generations forward. If girl feticides continue, like in present there will be no sister to tie a 'rakhi', there will be no daughter in law to continue your 'vansh' and above all there will be no mother to hide you in her lap.
Please save girl child and let them grow and touch the horizon.
Sky is the limit of her ambition.
