History of Tsechu Festival
This festival is celebrated in the Rewalsar region in the Mandi district. Initially this festival was celebrated in the end of the 19th century by the Tibetans peoples. Most of Tibetans peoples came to the India in the 1970s. Firstly they came to the Maclorganj area and after they shifted to other areas.
In the Rewalsar there are so many Tibetans and Buddhist monk's lives, so every year in the month of March they celebrate festivals with great enthusiasm and happiness.
