2. You can travel by road from Bangalore on board a KSRTC bus from Majestic Bus Depot. The tariff is about Rs.40/- per person. Travelling by a deluxe bus would cost approximately Rs.200/- or so. It will take about 2 to 2 ½ hours to reach Nandi Hills. If you catch the morning KSRTC bus at 8.30a.m., you can take the return bus from Nandi Hills at 2.30.p.m. or later at 4.15p.m. or at 5p.m.

It will take about 1 hour to reach Nandi Hills if you leave early morning, otherwise about 1 ½ to 2 hours depending on the traffic.

You have to head in a southern direction on to National Highway NH63, turning left there and then right to NH7. Ahead you again turn right to NH207, and take directions from there to Nandi Hills. It will take about 4 ½ hours to reach Nandi Hills.
3. Travelling from Devanahalli to Nandi Hills: From the town of Devanahalli, Nandi Hills is located just 20 km from the National Highway NH-7. The road route via Devanahalli is considered one of the best due to the better road conditions.
4. Travelling from Mysore to Nandi Hills: From Mysore you can travel by road from the eastern side to N S Road, then take directions to get on the National Highway NH-48 & then NH-207. From Mysore, Nandi Hills is about 3 ½ to 4 hours by road.
