This institute of technology was started in 2005 by a renowned personality, Mr. Sanjay Bansal who was really a man with a wider vision. His main aim was to develop a campaign which could provide quality technical information in dehradun. Its campus is spread over approximately 250 bighas of land. -Those who are eligible for registration must submit their forms before 30 april 2012 till 5:00 pm.
-The date of the counseling will be announced in the second week of May 2012.

Dev bhumi institute of pharmacy and research is situated in a separate campus apart from the main campus of dev bhumi group of institutes. This institute provides three main courses approved by AICTE and PCI. Four year B pharmacy, two year M pharmacy and three year D pharmacy courses are offered by the dev bhumi institute of pharmacy and research. This college produces the best quality pharmacists to work in various fields. These pharmacists are also provided with the research option that further helps in the development of the country. Admissions would be strictly on the basis of marks obtained in UKSEE exam conducted by govt. of uttarakhand. Counseling would be held after the result of UKSEE is announced. The seats are divided as 85% are general seats and 15% are management quota seats which would be given on the basis of the merit list developed by the govt. of uttarkhand.Eligibility
-For B pharmacy, a student must pass +2 exams or equivalent with minimum 40% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
-For m pharmacy, a student must have a bachelor degree of b pharmacy or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
DEV BHUMI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR WOMEN
Dev bhumi institute of technology for women is the oldest and the first college of engineering for women in uttarakhand. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to uttarakhand technical university dehradun. The main courses provided by this college are b tech in different trades such as cse, it, ee, aie and MBA courses only for women. All the different trades show that girls are not less than boys. They can also do whatever they want. The starting of this college had marked the beginning of an era where the girls would rule. They provide an opportunity to the girls to come forward and show the whole world that nothing is impossible without them, only an initiation is required.Speciality
The thing which is unique about this group of institutes is the reservation for the NRI people. The 5% of the total seats are reserved only for the NRI candidates so that they do not face any problem in getting education in their own country and reduces brain drain.Admission procedure
Admissions would be on the basis of marks obtained in AIEEE exam. Counseling would be held after the result of AIEEE is announced. The interested students must by the counseling form before the last date worth rupees 1000 and submit it as soon as possible. Admissions would be given on the basis of the merit list developed by the management. A state level test is also conducted by the University for the Admissions in B tech.Eligibility
-The student must pass +2 exams or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
-For lateral entries i.e. those who want to get admission in second year directly, they must have a diploma of 3 or 4 years with minimum of 60% marks. Only 10% seats are reserved for the lateral entries.
