Hoe to make Tamil recipe Kutti Urulai Kari Spicy baby potatoes

Ingredients to make Kutti Urulai Kari Spicy baby potatoes
1. Baby potatoes – 1/2 kg
2. Oil - 2 tbsps
3. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
4. Urad dal – 1 tsp
5. Onions – 2 (medium sized)
6. Garlic – 1 to 2 pods(finely chopped)
7. Sambhar Podi– 1 ½ tsp
8. Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
9. Water - 2 tbsps
10. Salt-to taste

1. Wash the potatoes in a big vessel. Pressure cook them until 3 whistles.
2. Peel the skin of the potatoes and then transfer it to a broad bowl.
2. Next add sambhar powder, turmeric and salt. Sprinkle water over it and Mix well so that the powders get coated to the potatoes.
3. Heat oil in a Kadai. Splutter mustards, and then add the urad dal. To this add the finely chopped onions and garlic till transparent.
4. Add the curry leaves and then add the potatoes mixed with powders. Mix well and spinkle water if needed.
5. When the water gets absorbed mix well and add oil around it so that it gets toasted. Just mix well till the potatoes are finely roasted.
6. Remove from fire and serve hot with white rice, sambhar and rasam or even with chappathis.
