How to make Tamil Recipe Poondu Thuvayal (Garlic Chutney)


Garlic chutney is a special recipe of the ancient tamilians. It helps in reducing cholesterol and also good for digestion.

Garlic chutney is good for diabetic patients, hypertensive patients and pregnant women.

Ingredients required for making Tamil Recipe Poondu Thuvayal (Garlic Chutney)


Peeled garlic cloves - 2 cup
Red chillies - 4
Roasted gram - 4 tbsps
Tamarind - lemon size
Salt - 3/4 tsp

Method for making Tamil Recipe Poondu Thuvayal (Garlic Chutney)


1. Grind all ingredients together to get a fine powder.

2. Add 1/2 cup of water and run the mixer again until you get a smooth chutney.
