Ingredients of Tamilnadu Sweet Recipe Greengram Ladoo


1. Split Green gram - 2 cups

2. White Sugar - 2 cups

3. Ghee - 2 cups

4. Roasted Cashews - 10 or more

5. Cardomom powder - 3 tsp

Preparation of Tamilnadu Sweet Recipe Greengram Ladoo


1. Roast the greengram and powder it.

2. Mix the powdered greengram and powdered sugar in a vessel along with cashewnuts and cardomom.

2. Heat ghee in a vessel and then add this to the above mixture and stir well.

3. Continue the mixing till it is fine to make as a ladoo.

4. Now after mixing take the mixture in hands and press and make a ball, press with pressure so that it will not break.

5. Store the ladoos in an air-tight container.
