The chief of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), Miss. J Jayalalithaa sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu with 33 cabinet ministers in the historic place of Chennai, the Madras University's centenary auditorium today at 12:30 pm.
The important guests who were there in the swearing ceremony were

• CPI general secretary A B Bardhan
About 25 of the 34 members of the cabinet were new youngsters and the old AIADMK leaders like Jaya Kumar and Valarmathi did not get any place in the cabinet.
The AIADMK alliance have won with majority by winning in the 204 of the total 234 seats in the Tamilnadu assembly elections 2011. Thus it is going to be a single-party government.
