History of Mahabalipuram Tamilnadu
Mahabalipuram Tamilnadu excellent tourist destination is situated at a distance of about 60km on the shores of the bay Bengal. This is a UNESCO Heritage centre. This is an ancient port beautifully constructed by Pallavas. They have also constructed pretty monuments with panels, amazing cave temples, speaking rathas and many more historical temples. The port was built by Mahendra Verman in 6th century. In those seven temples, only one is surviving healthy for tourist view, all other were destroyed by natural disasters. It is considered as one of the best tamilnadu tourist places.
