Ingredients for making Tamilnadu special wheat rava uttapam
Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
Rava - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - finely chopped
A sprig of curry leaves
Salt to taste
How to make Tamilnadu special Wheat Rava Uttapam
1. Cut the onions and green chillies into to fine pieces.
2. Mix the whole wheat flour and Rava with the required amount of salt and next add the finely chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, and curry leaves. Add enough water to get a idli batter consistency.
3. Heat the non-stick tawa and pour the atter in the center and spread in the form of uttapam, i.e., it should be thick. Cook both sides of the uttapam by flipping over.
4. Remove from the tawa when it is cooked and serve hot with chutney.
