How to make Chicken Coconut Gravy

• About 1/2 Kg chicken
• 2 medium onion(s) sliced
• 2 cup(s) coconut milk
• 8 cloves garlic
• 2 chopped Tomato
• 1 tablespoon(s) each of coriander and red chilli powders
• 1 tablespoon(s) ginger Garlic Paste
• 2 green chilli(es) slit
• 1 teaspoon(s) turmeric powder
• curry leaves
• 2 tablespoon(s) oil
• 2 cup(s) water
• salt to taste
• finely chopped coriander leaves, Mint leaves for garnishing (optional)

Cooking time (approx.): 30 minutes
Style: Tamilnadu Non-Vegetarian

Chicken Coconut Gravy preparation

1. Clean the Chicken. Magnate it with Ginger-Garlic paste
2. Heat half the oil in a heavy-bottomed pan on medium level till hot Pour oil and Half fry Onion, Tomato, till the onion becomes light brown in color
3. Add Magnate Chicken, coconut milk, Chili and Coriander, turmeric powder boil it to 20 minutes till the Chicken becomes soft and smooth.
4. Add Green chillies, Brinji, Curry leaves and Close the lid and heat it till u will get red gravy.
5. Finally sprinkle Salt to taste and garnish it with Mint and chopped Coriander leaves
Serve hot with: Ghee Rice, white rice or Indian bread (Roti),It also suits to Idli,Dhosa, Idiyappam, Appam(merely for all food items)
