Differences among the students of Rural and Urban Children

On many occasion it was noticed few educational body always trying to outline the children coming from rural area. They think that the children from rural area cannot pay the money as they are demanding. So, at all possible effort they drive the rural area children away form their institution. This was the main reason for the Right to Education act, 2009 which was passed in the parliament during 2009 have a section for allowing reservation of 25% to the children coming from the rural area in all schools.

The rote learning makes no sense in the scope of learning. In the present system a child can score cent percentage marks in the examination without knowing the concept of learning. What is the use of such learning? will it support for them in making their career. We cannot identify the skill of the child he or she have only we inject what we have and try to recover what we want not bothering about the talent of the child. Hence, the committee opposed the way of rote learning and suggested an alternative solution as continuous and comprehensive evaluation.

Play-way methodology of teaching in Kindergarten in Tamilnadu

What hell in the present system of education. The children in their infancy stage are pushed up and enforced to learn everything. Parents are generally forcing and physically torturing the children to study-study-and study for getting good marks. Nowadays, many children lost their childhood life, they don't know how to play the kid game. All children leading a life of a prisoner in their home. Children never allowed to play at their own choice game instead the parents design his game of play by suppressing his desires and interest for ever. As the days passed on the child lose his or her hope and confidence to handle the pressure in the adverse situation of their life. So, the committee strongly recommend the play way methodology in kindergarten school of Tamilnadu.

Let us hope the recommendations of muthukumaran committee may bring a favorable change in the present system of Tamilnadu education system. It is a new thinking in a new dimension in the history of Tamilnadu education. No doubt the samacheer kalvi thittam will bring an expected change over cognitive, affective and psycho motor domain of Education. Opposing is easier than designing, so the samacheer thittam is not against anyone or favoring any political party but in is in the interest of CHILDREN OF TAMIL NADU.
