BHEL is inviting applications for various recruitments. In this article you will find every information about these recruitments. Please note that these recruitments are conducted by Ranipet Tamilnadu branch of BHEL. This time BHEL is recruiting 180 Artisan posts in the various disciplines.
Artisan recruitment in Ranipet BHEL- First post to be filled is of artisan and there are total of 180 posts (GEN-92, OBC-51, SC-35, ST-02, PH-09, EXSM-26) to be filled under this category. The full detail of seats is written within the brackets above. Maximum age of candidates applying for this post is 27 years as on 01/09/2011. Pay scale for this post is somewhat interesting and candidates will get Rs. 11000/- during their training session and after the end of training session their pay will increased to 11700-23000/-. There is provision of various allowances and several other benefits.

1. Welder- there are total of 56 posts of welders.
2. Electrician- BHEL has decided to fill total of 06 electricians in their work.
3. Material Handling Operator- there are total of 11 posts of material handling operators.
4. Instrument Mechanic- there are total of 03 posts.
5. Mill Wright Mechanic- there are total of 03 posts.
6. Electronics Mechanic- there are total of 03 posts of Electronics mechanic.
NOTE- there is also provision of relaxation for reserved categories and all the relaxations are according to rules.
Qualifications- qualifications for above posts is very simple and applying candidates must have Matric/SSLC and National Trade Certificate. They should also have NAC in concerned stream and should have atleast 60% marks in each NTC & NAC. These marks are for general category applicants and for reserved category applicants marks are 55%.
Selection Procedure- all the candidates will have to pass a written test and those who will clear this written exam will called for an interview. Written test is going to held on 06/11/2011 at Chennai. Application fee for general category applicants is Rs 125/- and applicants can pay this amount by mean of Challan Form from State Bank of India and Challan should be into Power Jyoti A/c No. 31170378124.
