TRB Announces 57000 Recruitment for Teachers in Tamil Nadu in 2011 to 2012

The Tamil Nadu Government has passed an order to appoint 57000 Teachers in pallikalvi department in Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2011 to 2012. The Government order clearly states that in pallikalvi 56,853 Teachers, Special Teachers (art, drawing, Yoga), Part time teachers, Non-Teaching school staffs (cooks), head masters are going to be appointed for the academic year 2011-12. The librarians are also will be appointed in the schools. For the selection of the librarians the competitive exam will be conducted under the Group III exams. The Special teachers salary will be Rs. 5000 per month. If a Special Teachers works in two schools his salary will be Rs. 10,000 per month.

Selection process of the Teachers through TRB in 2012

The selection process are in a great confusion whether to select the teachers through the state seniority or through the District seniority. The case is going on in the Supreme Court is in pending. The court order is expected to be on the January month of 2012. So after the court order the decision will be taken by the Teachers Recruitment board to choose between the state seniority and district seniority.

There is also an another issue of selecting the teachers through the competitive exams. Presently the government is taking the seniority method to appoint the teachers. After the court's order the selection process may change according to the directions of the court.

Second Grade Teachers - 7,907
Graduate Teachers - 15,525
Post Graduate Teachers - 5,869
Special Teachers - 1,538
Part Time Teachers - 16,549
Agriculture teachers - 25
Library In chargers - 1,093
Non-Teaching Staffs - 5,000
UG & PG assistants - 1,868
Lab Assistants - 388

the teachers for Drawing, Music Dance and Pet teachers are need be qualified their +2 with a diploma or degree in their respective field.

There is no seniority for the special teachers for this time.they will be directly recruited by the CEO of every district.

I would like to know when the exam will be conducted for the recruitment of primary,secondary, Higher secondary based on the qualifying marks in the exam.
Only meritorious teachers are to be appointed for quality education.
The quality of teaching can only be improved by appointing well qualified, domain knowledge teachers.

Hello Mr. Nata Rajan Sir,

As we know that the qualifying exams are to be conducted for the recruitment of the teachers

for primary,secondary, Higher secondary schools. The teachers have to write the exam and

get passed. The passing mark is 90 out of 150. If you are qualified in the exam, then the

decision will be taken by the Tamil Nadu government to select the passed candidates through

another exam or senority.

The exam will be conducted on april month. already the applications are printed.

hello Mr. Shan,

there are many who attended the interview and went for the certificate verification. The selected teachers list is not yet announced. Many are waiting eagerly for the list to be released. But as per today (05.03.2012) the list is not yet released.

Most probably you will be going to school from June. before June all other formalities will be completed. I will update the list once it is announced. Try to have in touch with us.

But i have got information like the result announced in two parts. I searched but no information for other district except tiruvallur.

You are correct. As the part time teachers are selected district wise we can not expect all the district to announce the result at the same time. In tiruvallur it is announced. very soon it will be announced in all other districts as well.
