Tamilnadu Part Time Teachers Recruitment 2012 latest notification


The Tamilnadu Government recently has specified certain criteria towards succeeding in Teachers Eligibility Test and as per the rules in order to succeed in the Test each individual must get 60 Marks out of 150 Total marks. If an individual passes in this exam conducted then it will be valid for 7 years and the person who likes to get into Teachers Professional can have any number of attempts towards the exam during the schedule of the exams conducted every year.

The exam will be conducted as 2 different papers with multiple choices questions and this exam will be conducted by Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Recruitment Board. As per the recent news about the changes in free Education Act to the students the local government is in a position to recruit more number of Part Time Teachers. Due to this situation and to improve the grade of teachers from 1st to 8th standard the government has decided to come up with Teacher Eligibility Recruitment Test.

Eligibility towards Teachers Recruitment Test


1.As per National Teachers Education Counseling Board Rules teachers who have completed their respective teacher training course are eligible for the exam.
2.Teachers undergoing respective Teacher Training Course affiliated to National Teachers Education counseling Boards are also eligible for the respective exam.

About Teacher Recruitment Tests


The Test consists of 2 papers and the exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks with 90 minutes time frame. All the questions will be as multiple choices with one word answers. Teachers who like to teach for the class 1st to 5th are requested to undergo Paper 1 and Teachers for 6th to 8th should undergo Paper 2. The Teachers who like to teach for the class 1st to 8th are requested to undergo both the papers. The government is planning to conduct these exams every year and the teachers who like to increase their score level gained by them from previous exams can also go with another attempt to increase their score level. Certificates will be provided for all candidates who are appearing for the exam and the certificate consists of various details like Certificate Number, Written Exam Month and Year along with Marks attained by the respective individual.

1.Children Welfare and Teaching Method - 30 Marks
2.Language Paper – 1 (Teaching Method) - 30 Marks
3.Language Paper - 2 ( Selective Language) – 30 Marks
4.Maths – 30 Marks
5.Environmental Science – 30 Marks

Paper II –Total Marks (30+30+60)
1.Children Welfare and Teaching Method – 30 Marks
2.Language Paper – 1 (Compulsory) – 30 Marks
3.Language Paper – 2 (Compulsory) – 30 Marks
4.Maths and Science (Only for Maths and Science Teachers) – 60 Marks
Social Studies Teachers - 60 Marks
Other grade Teachers can select any of the above.

Latest News towards Part Time Teachers Recruitment


According to Education Act to all peoples in Tamil Nadu a Total of 16,549 Part Time Teachers should be employed within 21st January 2012. The information related to this will be published in News Papers by the respective District Collectors Offices. The Last date for applying along with Employment Number would be on December 15th 2011. To apply for this job Registration with Employment office is mandatory. The recruited teachers will be employed in Government schools consisting of more than 100 Students for the Standard 6th to 8th classes.

Among available 16,549 vacancy, 5253 posts are being reserved for Art Education , 5392 Post are being reserved for Health and Physical Education Department and 5904 Post are being reserved for Work Education departments. As per the instruction from the respective Education Office the Advertisement for inviting application for Teachers should be carried out within December 10th 2011 and also the office should receive the respective Registration Book of the candidates from the respective Employment office within this specified stipulated time.

The Last date towards receiving the application would be December 15th 2011 and the application should be processed within 16th to 18th December 2011 and Entrance Exam will be conducted between December 26th 2011 to January 15th 2012 and the Employment Letter must be sent within January 16th to January 21st 2012. The Date of Joining would be on 27th January 2012.

According to the latest News received in 37 Districts the Education officers have been transferred and 19 officers have been promoted as Chief Education Officer. A panel of members with respective specialization will be formed for the respective Recruitment process and the recruited Teachers will be placed in respective departments and the government has decided to give a salary of Rs 5000 as their monthly salary for the recruited Part Time Teachers and this job is on Temporary Basics.

The TRB has decided to conduct its Teachers Recruitment Test by May 2012 and they expect 5 Lakhs candidates to appear for the respective exams. As per the latest News released by the Government of Tamil Nadu towards Teachers Recruitment the Teacher Recruitment Board(TRB) has decided to conduct the exam in 2 different papers. But still no formal information related to the Exam Dates and Schedule along with its Patters has not been announced but TRB has decided to conduct the respective exams by the month of May and July 2012. As per the instructions received all Teachers should undergo Language Papers and this would be ok for Language taught subject Teachers and what will the situation for the specialized Teachers is still in a vein and confusion. The TRB has not taken any steps towards its recruitment process till it receives proper judgment towards the exam. Moreover the teachers are very well confused whether to follow old pattern of syllabus or new pattern of syllabus and they too are in a state of confusion and waiting for a definite result from respective departments. Primary and secondary teachers are eligible to undertake the respective exams to be conducted.
