When I wrote and read this poem I feel no other language can express a mothers love to such an extent But TAMIL. உயிரோடு உயிராக – தாய்மையின் உணர்வுகள் சொல்லும் கவிதை
எனக்காக வந்த புது உறவு நீ
என் உணர்வுகளின் உயிர் நீ !
உனது அங்க அடையாளங்கள் ஏதுமின்றி
பார்க்காமலே காதலிக்கிறேன் உன்னை !
நித்தமும் உன் நினைவிலே நனைகிறேன்
நித்திரையில் கூட பூரித்து போகிறேன் !
உனது தீண்டல்களின் ஸ்பரிசங்களின்
உள்ளம தொலைந்து போகிறேன் !
என் நாடி துடிப்பிற்குள் நுழைந்து
நாளமெல்லாம் பரவிக் கிடக்கிறாய்!
சுமப்பதில்கூட இவ்வளவு சுகமா ? ஆம்!
சுகம்தான் நீயும் உன் நினைவுகளும் !
கனவுகளோடு காத்திருக்கிறேன் !
உன்னை அள்ளிக்கொள்ள !
உன்னை அணைத்துக்கொள்ள !
உன்னை தாங்கிக்கொள்ள!
உன்னை ஏந்திக்கொள்ள !
உன்னை உயிரில் பொத்தி வைத்து ...
உணர்வுகளில் கட்டிவைத்து ...
காத்திருக்கிறேன் உனக்காக ...
