Please watch this superb teleserial with English sub-titles
It is simply great that there are some tele serials that are shown on Amazon and they are simply just too good. One such serial where the first three episodes itself are so gripping and wonderful is a tele serial called "Sweet Karam Coffee". It seems to have been made in Tamil, and it has English sub-titles. It showcases three women. One is a grandmother who wants to explore some dimensions of her own life and simply let go. This is played by the brilliant Lakshmi, an actress who is now over 70 years old. Madhubala is her daugher-in-law who is in search of her own identity. The daughter is a new comer whose name does not ring a bell. But her acting is simply superb. In the first three episodes, they take off on an expedition and the grand daughter drives the family car. In the third episode, the three are caught in a remote place, where the somewhat tribal people, who are traditional potters in their village, host them. They are so happy to live with them for 48 hours and the car which had a breakdown is repaired by someone in the village.The sea of emotions shown in the third episode, where the innocence of the village people is there for all to see, is simply too good. We need to appreciate such tele serials and support them totally.
