List of Telugu news channels and their details

News channels became part in our daily life. They are telecasting interesting programs and interesting discussions. First news channel Tv9 is launched in 2004 before elections. At that time all other channels just telecast only main news and the news program is for only just 30 min.

So this 24 hours news channel concept got huge response among Telugu people and slowly many channels launched in Andhra.

Now total Telugu news channels are 15. It is more than the normal channels.

1) TV9
It is the first Telugu news channel launched in the year 2004. Tv9 won 2 times among the best news channel in the India. It created revolution in the Telugu media. 2 years back it started another channel which telecasts news and real time programs. It is TV1. Tv9 helped flood victims by collecting money from the people across the world.

3) ETV2
It is the Telguu news channel from the Eenadu news paper. It is the second Telugu news channel launched in the year 2004. It telecasts good programs in Telugu style. Female news readers wear only sarees. No Other telugu channels follows this system. This is a good channel.

4) Tv5
It is another Telugu news channel started by Shreya Broadcasting Pvt Ltd. It is launched in the year 2007. It telecasts programs which are common in other news channels. First it started as competition to tv9. Some program timings in both tv9 and tv5 are same.

It is the news channel from the Narne group. It is started in the year 2009. Famous Telugu hero NTR is the nephew of Narne. Engagement of NTR and Narne daughter completed in May and marriage is scheduled in 2 months. It animated clips on current political situtaions are good.
