The Chief Electoral Officer of Maharashtra State, Mumbai has announced a program to ensure that all eligible voters can include their names in the electoral rolls in the 26 Legislative Assembly Constituencies of Mumbai Suburban District.

1. Voters must contact the Central Polling Station of their constituency from October 1st 2011 to November 1st 2011.
2. This is a great opportunity for:
(a) Name registration in the photo electoral rolls for those who will complete 18 years of age on January 1st 2012.
(b) Those who wish to make any corrections, deletions and transposition of name.
3. Special Campaign Days: On these days, Booth Level Agents of Political Parties will be present.
4. Forms to be filled
Note: Co-operative Housing Societies are required to furnish information of all residents under Section 79-A of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 to the concerned Electoral Registration Officer.
