High Attrition Rate by Most Employees in Organisations

New Jobs are now readily and easily available in the job market, and therefore, employees take the better advantage of this and try to switch from one job to another within a short time span in today's corporate world. This makes it imperative for employees to assure themselves ready change of work routine as well as their job profile and their job description on their CV or their Resume.

Employees have no concept of organization loyalty these days and are ready to switch jobs and find work at some other organization without delay and much passage of time. Attrition rate is high these days in all sectors of the economy, but more particularly in the Information Technology Sector of business operations. The high rate of employees switching from job to job may be due to lack of expected salary,or level of work experience, or simply that they do not like the working environment and the atmosphere where they come and work everyday.

The major drawback of this new trend which has come up in the past few years is that companies may force employees to work in their organization for a longer probation period of service and keep a record of their levels of service and their performance in their organization. Keeping a record of employees by an organization will ensure that the employee can be employed in future based on his level of service and performance so that they can rate the individual accordingly.

Employers accordingly make the working conditions and the amount of perks which can be availed by the employee working with them in order to make him feel happy and at home in the organization. This however needs to be taken as a precaution measure and not a measure by which the employer themselves as well as the organization is put in a detrimental position.

Keeping both the parties, which are the employees and the employers happy should be the policy of most organizations in order to avoid high attrition problems.
