Safdarjung sports Injury centre is located in campus of Safdarjung hospital. it is Asia's first state of the art injury centre with seven multi story building. It was prepared for Commonwealth Games 2010 and has world class facilities for treatment of sports injury. Patient needs not to roam here or there for treatment after stepping into this hospital. X-ray, CT scan, MRI, blood test, emergency ward, OPD, operation theatre, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, gymnasium, biomechanical lab, hydrotherapy, etc. all are available under one roof.
The doctors here are very expert and have undergone from training process in abroad. You can take advantage of world class treatment for 365 X 24 X 7, even if you are not having a single penny in your pocket. You have to pay the fees at the rate of CGHS for investigations during treatment. Actually, the investigation facilities are carried on the basis of Public Private Partnership under which this is an agreement with private partner that it will give all the faculties on government rates which is less than half of the rates in the market.
Patient has to pay only for equipment expenses during surgery. Under some projects, needy people are offered free of cost treatment.
