International Cricket stadium in Daramsala
We are talking about the first ever International Cricket ground in the Himachal Pradesh which is situated in the Dharamsala in Kangra district. This ground was completely built in the year of 2010. This is not so much large ground as compared to the other cricket stadium its total sitting capacity is about 25000 peoples.
This ground is situated below the hill, around this ground there are panoramic view of the Dhaula Dhar Mountains which are covered with the snow.
The first ever International match was played on this ground on 25 January 2013. This match was played between India and England and England win this match very easily. Here England won the toss and decided to field first and India doesn't make a big score and India lose this match but they win the series with 3-2.
Apart from International match there are so many match were played. In the previous session of the IPL there were two match played. There were also played the Ranji Trophy matches. And in this session of the IPL which is going to start in the April HPCA (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association) Dharamsala will host the two matches, for these match booking will start in the month of March on the counter as well you can book the seat by online on their sites.
How to reach this place
This stadium is situated in the Dharamsala which is about 10 km from the Kangra district. For this place there are so many local buses are available from the Kangra's ISBT. The distances from various places are given below:
Distance from Shimla it is about 300km, from national capital Delhi it is about 500 km and from the Chandigarh it is about 350km. there are so many buses are available for this place from across the state as well as country.
You can also reach this place by train and the nearest railway station is Pathankot (Punjab) from where this place is about 30 km.
You can also reach this place by the airplane and the nearest airport is Gaggal Airport from where this stadium is about 15 km. from this airport there are not so much flight is available but in the coming times it will increases.
