Navaratra festival is celebrated across the country twice in a year. This festival is also celebrated in the different parts of the Himachal Pradesh state and is popular in the Naina Devi Temple, in which every year so many peoples from the different parts visits in this festival.

This festival was started from the 31st March and which will continues for the next nine days. This festival is celebrated across the state but in the Naina Devi Temple, it is very popular. Every year so many peoples visit this place and take blessing of the Gods. It is one of the famous tourist spot and is one of the famous temples of the state.


During the festival, this temple is shining with the light in the night. As it is situated on the top of the hill, so you can see this place from faraway places. So whenever you want to visit this temple then you can visit on the occasion of Navaratra festival which is celebrated twice in year i.e. in the month of April and October every year.


Main attraction
When you visit this temple, then you can see the main temple where idol of the Mata is placed. There is also a small cave which is about 100 meter long and inside the cave there is a small temple. Apart from it you can wonder in the children park and enjoy the lifting system. You can also boating in the lake which is about 20 km from this temple.


How to reach
This temple is situated in the Bilaspur district and is about 100 km from the Bilaspur. You can easily reach this place by bus as well taxi. It is situated on the top of the hill where you can reach either by taxi or through the lift, because no bus facility is available to the temple. You can also walk through the stairs to reach the temple. This temple is about 200 km from the Shimla and about 180 km from the Chandigarh.
