Three day long Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan was celebrated in the Una district from the 14th of September this year and which was continues till the 16th September and it was celebrated in the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in the Una district. Indira Gandhi Sports Complex had celebrated the three day long Khel Abhiyan in the Una district in which about 600 children from the Una district has participated in the age group of 16 and 19 years. The only children were participated in the Abhiyan those who were participated in the block level. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by the Varinder Dharmani who is the District Congress President and also Director of the HP State Tourism Corporation.
On the opening ceremony of the function he said they will spent about RS 1 Crore n every block to build indoor stadium so that children of the rural areas can also participates in the various sports. In this Abhiyan so many games were played and the students who have performed very well during the event they will be selected for the state level competition which will be held in the Bilaspur state in which state level children will participates and which will celebrated also in the same month.
In the event so many children have participated and they have shown great enthusiasm towards the games and winner of the various games were awarded with memento and also cash price.
