Panchchuli is a very well know region of Uttarakhand. It is a combination of five peaks which makes it a wonderful visiting destination of Uttarakhand. All the peaks are snow-capped. These all are Himalayan peaks which lies at the end
of the eastern past of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. These are situated near Munsiyari which is a visiting spot in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.
The altitudes of the peaks varies from 6,334 ms or 20,781 ft to 6,904 ms or 22,651 ft. They are situated between the Gori and the Darmaganga valleys of Uttarakhand. This collection of peaks is situated at a distance of about 138 km from Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. The highest peak among five is Panchchuli II. The destination name is somewhat derived from the famous Pandavas's "Five Chulis" or cooking hearths. Panchchuli-1
It is the first peak out of five who have an altitude of about 6,355 metres above the sea level. The coordinates of this
peak are Latitude 30°13'12"
Longitude 80° 25'12".
Panchchuli-2
The altitude of this peak is about 6,904 metres. It is the highest peak in the
group of five peaks. The coordinates of the peak are Latitude 30°12'51" Longitude
80°25'39".
Panchchuli-3
This peak has an altitude of about 6,312 metres above the sea level. The coordinates of this
peak are Latitude 30°12'00" Longitude 80°26'24".
Panchchuli-4
Altitude of this peak is about 6,334 metres above the sea level. The coordinates of this peak are Latitude 30°11'24" Longitude
80°27'00".
Panchchuli-5
Altitude of this peak is about 6,437 metres. The coordinates
