Uttarakhand Government is currently preparing one new industrial policy for this hilly state Uttarakhand. This new policy is being prepared for giving more chances to industrialists and freshers in Uttarakhand. The current industrial policy in Uttarakhand is not so effective and is not doing well with the growth of Uttarakhand. According to Rakesh Sharma, they are discussing this new industrial policy with main departments of Indian Government like- Indian Industry, Industries Association of Uttarakhand and several others. According to him they are getting very good suggestions from all the above listed organisations. Earlier the industrial policy was included in 2003 and it was given so much extensions till now but now they are going to involve one brand new industrial policy in Uttarakhand.

B.C. Khanduri words on new industrial policy in Uttarakhand


According to Uttarakhand CM Mr Khanduri, his government is putting their best efforts for establishments of very good and strong industrial policy in state. He also said that his government is also trying a lot for increasing extremal investments in Uttarakhand. According to him this new Industrial Policy will give chance to 550,000 unemployed youths of Uttarakhand. He said that he is trying to evaluate the faults in previous industrial policy and he will also try not to repeat those mistakes again. He said that famous industrialists from all over India are welcomed to give suggestion and they are also welcomed for investing their money in Uttarakhand. He said that his government is fully confident about better implementation of this new industrial policy in Uttarakhand.
