You can also hire horses and bicycles in the market area of Mahableshwar to go to Venna Lake. You can also visit the famous Gokarna Temple of Mahabaleshwar, which is dedicated to Lord Mahabali (an incarnation of Lord Shiva). Mahableshwar's tourist spots all have the word 'Point' in them and you can ask the Hotel/Resort staff for guidance or take a personal guide along each time you explore Mahableshwar.
