Introduction of Sripuram Golden Temple in Vellore District


Sripuram Golden Temple is located at Sripuram in Vellore district near Thirumalaikkodi is one of the famous temples in tamilnadu. The Golden Temple is dedicated to Lord Lakshmi as "Sri Lakshmi Narayani" . The construction of this temple is built nearly 7 years. The Kumbabishegam festival celebrated in this temple on 24th August, 2007.

The temple built for Lord Lakshmi Narayani is fully coated with Gold. The entire temple was designed by "Sri Sakthi Amma" , the spiritual leader of this temple. The temple is situated around small range of green hills at Thirumalaikkodi. More than 1,500 kgs of Gold was used to buy this temple.

Sripuram Golden Temple is the largest Golden Templein the world than Amristar Golden Temple. The temple is located on 100 acres of land and full of sculptures in gold. Except pathways, the roofs and pillars of the temple are made of gold. The cost of constructed Golden temple is about approximately Rs.600 crores.

Vellore Narayani Temple


In this Golden temple, the Vimanam and Ardha mandapam is full coated with gold plate and surrounded by a pond. The Idol of Goddess Narayani was really amazing and decorated with flowers and gold. Many devotees was attracted and offered some special poojas for Goddess.

The pond of this temple is "Sarvatheertham". After 6 pm, it is very nice to see the Golden temple glittered with full of light rays and gold plates increases the brightness of temple. There are 12 layers of gold foils have been pasted on copper sheets and make a design of Gods fixed on the temple walls.

One of the very important features of the temple is the "Star path ways". The starpath way is 1.5 kms to reach the temple. The starpath way is currently called as "Sri Chakra". In these starpath ways, there was many messages from the Vedas on both sides and fully philosophical messages created by Sri Sakthi Amma.

The Devotees get wisdom through reading messages of the Vedas until to reach the Golden temple. Gita, Bible, Quran messages also displayed on both sides along the path."Kho" pooja is special in this temple which offered pooja for "Kamadhenu". Along the starpath, there is many facilities like Pooja items, Prasadhams, Water facilities etc.

Sri Sakthi Amma in Golden Temple


The God Man of this temple is "Sri Sakthi Amma" also called as "Narayani Amma". He is the Spiritual leader and head of "Sri Narayani Peedam". Sri Narayani peedam is private religious charitable trust and organization, built this Golden Temple. Sri Sakthi Amma proclaimed the Avatar of Goddess Narayani on 8th May 1992. He was born on January 3rd, 1976. From his young age, he is think full of divine and blessed bu Lakshmi and proclaimed her avatar.
