Biriyani

Lyrics: Gangai Amaren, Tanvi Shah
A track that has got some exciting tunes and which is differently composed by Yuvan. It is surely a good track to start off and will be the favourite among critics. The tunes and the use of it everywhere is the best part of this song. It goes on well with English verses and stylish Tamil track. Yuvan has once again proved that he is the best in such rap model songs and it is one of the best modern tracks for Kollywood. A track that has got its soul on different and stylish composition and song rendition. Surely a thumbs up for this experimental attempt to Kollywood.

Na nanh naa

Another track that proves Yuvan's versatility in making stylish tracks. This is milestone album for Yuvan in his career and Yuvan has tried his best to make tracks stylish and this tracks prove that stylish making touch. A track that has got interesting tunes, modern instrument use, and some interesting humming. This is surely another typical Yuvan number that youngsters love most and we cannot compare it with other albums of Kollywood. It is totally a different genre making form Yuvan and the addition of some funny lyrics too make it nice to listen. Anyhow the part of the song which makes it best is the part where 'na nanh naa' is repeated. Another good attempt that has gone stylish and entertaining.

Pom pom penne

Singers: Rahul Nambiar, Ramya NSK
Lyrics: Karky
A romantic number that is never in romantic touch. This track is totally experimental and hard-core yuvan fans would find it much interesting. The lyrics is in such a mood and the composition is completely different and none of tracks from Kollywood have got such a track in lifetime. It is interesting but it doubtful how it would get on with simple music listeners. When we consider the hard work in bringing in such an experiment it is appreciable and hard-core music listeners can look into this track. For others it would be a track that is weak but it deserves appreciation for the new try in concept.

Missisippi

Singers: Karthi, Premgi Amaren, Priya Himesh
Lyrics: Vaali
A matter that makes Yuvan different from others his attempts. This composer never tries to bring in tracks that are to be in same mood and hit formulae. H tries to make very track in a different style and a listener would get something good in it. This one too is different and sometimes much different. A lyrics with some interesting aspects may not have won us if it was in same old tunes. But this song goes on simple with some interesting tunes and clear cut vocals. The emotion ouch and dialogue addition are working out. Premji has never sung in this song. They are just trying to make a track worthy and it has succeeded. Anyhow different approach and the lovers can take a taste of this one too.

Run for your life

Singers: Gaana Bala, PSYCHO.unit
Lyrics: Gana Bala, PSYCHO.unit
The most modern track and the ultimate rap track from Yuvan. Yuvan has got complete freedom in this track and he proves that he can make something interesting and something experimental if he has got power. This is completely in such a mood. The tune resembles some old tunes but it never makes the track bad but this one is rightly to the youth. Those who love rap music genre should never miss out this track. This track cannot be rated because it should be felt. The compositional magic from Yuvan and this composer proves his versatility in trying something new. The use of Psycho unit and Gana bala is well done. The use of Gana Bala in such a mood would be the best idea ever. Anyhow this deserves appreciation for the power of music and the courage to make song with experiments. Wonderful and blaster track for Kollywood and this is complete mix of Yuvan magic.

Edhirthu Nil

Singers: D. Imman, G. V. Prakash Kumar, S. Thaman, Vijay Antony
Lyrics: Gangai Amaran
A track that talks about the composer's life and when the composer is in such a career milestone this track deserves applause. But interestingly this is one of the best tracks of this album. A complete good track and easily the best pick of the album. The Kollywood composers has joined together to make this possible and the track is too a grand one. The Lyrics is nice and the vocals are the best for same. The inspiring lyrics also gives boost to this young composer to come forward in his life. Anyhow this track is inspiring and never miss out this track from the album.

Nanh na na (New Jack Swing)

Singers: Yuvan Shankar Raja
Lyrics: Vaali
A different version of original track with some more elements to blast. A track that has got something modern and more stylish. This would never make you feel that original is better and what it does is a confusion. It confuses you in a way that you cannot select which is good and so Yuvan deserves special appreciation for this variety mix version. Surely this version is a worthy listen.

Nanh na na (Extended dance mix)

Singers: Premgi Amaren, Yuvan Shankar Raja
Lyrics: Vaali, Yuvanshankar Raja
If the last version was slow in mood this version of the song is fast and groovier. Surely it is made keeping in mid the party clubs and would be a sure shot hit in case of remix numbers. This is fast and temp made ease model of original track.

Conclusion

Biriyani is completely a different type of album for Yuvan and this composer can be proud about that matter. But Biriyani lacks something that we expect as a simple music lover. It is highly modern and that may be one thing that make feel so. Anyhow it deserves applause for the magic that possess and easily such an album is only possible from Yuvan. Anyhow when we consider the music quotient, Biriyani wins the race and now its decision time for the listeners.
