Lakshmi puja is celebrated after the Durga Puja festival in West Bengal. It is believed that Lakshmi is one of the daughter of Goddess Durga who symbolizes wealth, peace and prosperity. Lakshmi Puja is celebrated on a full moon day or otherwise known as Purnima Night. Lakshmi Puja time schedule is maintained well by the devoted. Many Bengali Recipes are cooked and offered to Goddess Laxmi in this Puja. Because it is believed that Goddess Lakshmi visits homes of all the devotees and replenishes them with wealth.
