About Jaldapara Sanctuary
Jaldapara Sanctuary is situated in Alipurduar of Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal. The Sanctuary was constituted in the year of 1941. Jaldapara Sanctuary was made to give protection to many wild animals or for protection of wild life. There are many kinds of animals are found in Jaldapara Sanctuary. Such as: single horned rhinos, Royal Bengal Tigers, wild elephants, deers, swamp deers, hog deers, wild pigs, bisons and a number of birds, pea-fowl etc. But the famous animal of the Jaldapara Sanctuary or Jaldapara Sanctuary is famous for single horned rhinos. Jaldapara Sanctuary is covered with a very good rain forest which is surrounded by tall green grasses. In one sentence Jaldapara Sanctuary is the heaven for wild Animals.
