Pandua is one of the best tourist place of West Bengal. It is located at a distance of 16kms from the North Malda Town. It is a very historical place of West Bengal. The area of this city is about 10 km on which this beautiful place of West Bengal is lying on. It was also the old Capital of West Bengal which is in between 14th to 15 century by the Muslim rulers. As we know it is a historical place because it is said that the oldest name of Pandua was Pandunagar which place was ruled by the Pandavas of Mahabharata. About Adina Mosque
Adina Mosque is located at the northern end of the Pandua town. It was built by Sultan Sikandar Shah in the periods of 14th century. The architecture used in this monument is very similar to the architecture used in the great mosque at Damascus. The design of this monument is like follows. The structure of the Adina Mosque is rectangular in shape having about 400 pillars and 378 domes. The holy Quran was written by carving on the doors of this Mosque. There is a big prayer hall is situated in this Adina Mosque in which about 12,000 devotees can accommodate at a time. It is one of the largest mosque of India. This Adina Mosque contains the tomb of Sultan Sikandar Shah. Really it is the best tourist place of West Bengal.
About Eklakhi Mausoleum
This Eklakhi Mausoleum was built in the period of 15th century by Sultan 
Jalal-ud-din. This is one of the earliest tombs built of square bricks in West Bengal. The architecture used in this monument is very good. There is a octagonal inner chamber in which there is an image of Ganesha who is the elephant God of Hindus or the son of Lord Shiva is present. It is known that this image is a very costly image.
About Qutb Shahi Mosque
Qutb Shahi Mosque is commonly known as the Golden Mosque. Because this monument of West Bengal is made of Yellow tiles or it is topped with yellow tiles. Qutb Shahi Mosque was built in the year 1585 by the Sultan Makhdum Shah whose grave lies just nearer this Mosque.
