Recipe for Boti Seakh


This resource is about prepearing Boti Seakh. Boti Seakh is a very delicious non-veg dish. Its a very good dish for any occasion or party. In this article I am going to give the complete procedure & ingredients required to prepere Boti Seakh.

Ingredients required to make Boti Seakh


  • 1/2 kg. meat

  • 2 potatoes

  • 2 tsp. ground ginger

  • 1/2 tsp. dhania-Jeera powder

  • 1 lime

  • Bread crumbs

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 onions

  • 2 tsp. ground green chilli

  • 1/2 tsp.turmeric powder

  • 1 dozen sticks


  • Method of making Boti Seakh


    1) Cut the meat into small pieces (preferably not too small), wash and squeeze out as much of water as possible.

    2) Apply ginger, green chilli, dhania-jeera powder, turmeric and salt to the meat pieces and keep aside for one hour.

    3) Dice potatoes and onions.

    4) Skewer one piece of meat, potato and onion on to a stick,

    5) Now repeat the above procedure for the other pieces as well.

    6) Once more similarly, fill the other sticks in the same way until all the ingredients are used.

    7) Now cover the pieces with bread crumbs, coat them with beaten eggs and fry and serve.

    Note: Just before frying the pieces, apply the juice of a little raw papaya. This makes the meat tender.
