Entrance exam for All India Sainik School to be held on January 8,2012


Read this article to know the admission procedure, availability of admission forms, last date of entry, reservation of seats and process of submission of forms for admission into the All India Sainik School, Rewari.

The entrance exams to class 6th of All India Sainik School for the session 2012-13 will be held on January 8th, 2012 in three centers in Rewari town.

According to the spokesperson of AISS the medium of examination would be both on English and Hindi but he medium of teaching would only be English. Boys with DOB lying on or between July 2, 2001 and July 1, 2002 will be eligible for the admissions in 6th standard of school.

The total number of seats available for admission into AISS is 80 out of which 25 per cent, 15 per cent and 7.5 per cent were reserved for the wards of defence personnel (including ex- servicemen) Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes respectively. All admissions are subject to medical fitness of the student.

Application cum prospectus forms for admission to AISS is available at Principal Sainik School Rewari, sector -4, Rewari till December 3, 11 on all working days between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The prospectus cum admissions form can also be availed be sending an application on plain paper to Principal, Sainik School Rewari, Sector 4, Rewari by December 10, 2011. The application should mention the address where the form is to be sent, the category of the student and a demand draft of the requisite fee.
Applications submitted of forms other than the official forms would not be considered. The application for is being issued to individuals and is not transferrable. No single person is being given more than 2 forms at a time.

Admission would be based purely on AISS Entrance Examinations, personal interviews and medical fitness. The aim of the school is to develop the boys physically, mentally and academically for entry into the National Defence Academy, Khandakwasla, Pune.
