Madhya Pradesh Professional Exmination Board in collaboration with MP Forest Department would be conducting a recruitment test for 2012 for the post of "Forest Officer (Van Rakashak) for MPFD"

The Date of Examination for MP Vanrakshak Recrutiment Test 2012 has been decided as 15th April 2012 from 10 a.m.

MP Vanrakshak Recruitment Test Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have passed HSSC/10+2 exams from MP Board of Secondary Education or an institute affiliated to MP BSE.

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

For MP Domicile candidates the minimum age limit as on 1st Jan 2013 is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years(for SC/ST/OBC and Female quota the upper age limit is relaxed for another 5 years).

*Note: Reservations are only for candidates who are MP domiciles.

Details about the position of Forest Officer through MP Vanrakshar Recrutiment Test

Destination: The destination would be given as Van Rakhshak.
No. of vacant seats: Total 1384
Pay Scale: The candidate would be given a salary in the range of 5200 – 20200 Rs. + 1800 Grade Pay in the probation period and after that grade pay would be increased to 1900Rs.

MP Vanrakshak/Forest Officer Recruitment Test 2012 Exam Pattern

The selection would be based on a written test, physical test and walking ability.
The written test would be a 2 hr paper with 70 questions for 70 marks. The paper would comprise of 40 Maths question (class 10 level), 30 questions on General Knowledge.
For the physical test, the MP Forest Department has made some specific standards which are as follows:
1. The height and chest for males 163 cms and 79 cms(For SC/ST height 152 cms . For Tribals a chest relaxation of 5 cms)
2. The height for female candidates should be atleast 150 cms.(For SC/ST height should be atleast 145 cms)

For this post a special test on walking abilities is there, which is used to chek the abilities of the candidate. For males it should be 25 kms in 4 hrs and for females it is 14 kms in 4 hrs.

How to apply for MP Vanrakshak Recruitment Test 2012

The application forms are available on the websites MPOnline and Vyapam. The applications can only be submitted Online from 24 Jan 2012 to 23 Feb 2012. The examination fees for Vanrakshak Recruitment Test 2012 for unreserved and OBC categories is Rs. 500 whereas that for SC/ST is Rs.250.
The application fees can be paid online through your credit/debit cards or thorough Internet banking or through Kiosk centres(through MPOnline and Vyapam) which would charge a nominal fee of Rs. 50.
