The details of the designation and pay scale for the post of Sub Engineer (Electricity) and Sub Engineer (Civil) according to the departments are given below:
  1. Direct Entry Sub Engineer(Electricity):
    Department: Chief Engineer (Electricity Protection)[Mukhya Abhiyanta(Vidhyut Suraksha)] and Chief Electricity Inspector under The Directorate of Electricity Madhya Pradesh
    Pay Band: Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade pay 3200
  2. Direct Entry Sub Engineer(Civil) for Backlog vacancies:
    Department: Office of Development Commissioner, MP Panchayant and Rural Development Department
    Pay Band: Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade pay of Rs.3200
  3. Contractual Position of Sub Engineer(Civil):
    The same position is vacan in different departments mentioned below:
    1. Madhya Pradesh State Council of Employment Guarantee(Manrega)
    2. Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority (RRDA)
    3. Madhya Pradesh State Water Purification Mission
    Pay Band: Rs. 18,125 per month and for Upper Category the pay scale will be Rs. 19,575 per month.

Combined Sub-Engineer Recruitment Test 2012 Eligibility Criteria


Education Qualification:
The minimum education qualification for the departments The Directorate of Electricity Madhya Pradesh, Office of Development Commissioner, MP is a graduate degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering in branches civil or electronics from a recognized Institute.
For Manrega, RRDA, TAC the candidates are required to have passed either a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) from AICTE approved University or should have completed a 3 yr Diploma course in Civil Engineering from a polytechnic college recognised by AMIE.

Age Limit: To appear for Combined Sub-Engineer Recruitment Test candidates require to meet the age limit criteria which is set to a minimum of 18 yrs and a maximum of 35 yrs as on 1st January 2013. However, for non-domicile(MP) candidates the age limit is a min. of 18 yrs and max. of 30 yrs as on 1st Jan 2012.

Domicile Requirement: The candidate should strictly be an Indian National. For candidates who are not domiciles of MP the positions are open only in Unreserved and Open Category.

The application fees of Rs. 500 for UR and OBC and Rs. 250 for SC/ST has to be paid either through credit/debit card or through Net banking. Candidates can even submit the application fees in cash at Kiosk centres given in the website MPOnline.
*Note: There is no application fees for candidates applying for Direct Entry- Backlog positions.
