SET 2012 test for Symbiosis undergraduate programs have been started. In order to apply for SET-2012, candidates should strictly follow the instructions given below. There are different steps which enable a candidate to register for SET 2012 very easily.
Step 1:
Candidates can register online at www.set-test.org
I have already mentioned that candidates can choose one paper from morning session and the other one from afternoon session. If you want to know the details of papers in morning session or afternoon session, you must visit here. While registering in the site mentioned above, you will generate your SET ID. Also you have to upload a latest scanned photograph of your own. Keep in mind that those photographs must be of the given format and size.
Step 2:
You have to follow the instructions for payment of test fee of Rs 1500. Remember that this fee is non-refundable and includes charges for prospectus of undergraduate programs of Symbiosis International University. The prospectus copy will be send to your address (registered in the site), through courier by the SIU admission cell. There are 4 choices of payment. If you are using the net banking option, then it will be easier for you to transfer the SET fee to the symbiosis test secretariat account. Another fact is that before the closing date of application of respective institute, it's mandatory to complete registration by filling online application form for desired programs of the institute. Step 3:
Candidates must log in SET website using SET ID and password. Then they must download and take print out of this admit card. Keep in mind that this will be operative from 25 April 2012 – 5 May 2012. They should bring this admit card to the test center along with a photo-identity proof of any one of the following like voter ID card, passport, driving license, credit card with photograph or college / institute identity card. During the time of written test, an authorized person from symbiosis will verify and authenticate the admit card against photo-id. So candidates should remember that it's mandatory to bring this photo identity and admit card at the time of examination.
