Rahul Gandhi's thinking may be that their statement to form government on his own can impress the voters. He think that by acquiring this type of attitude his party might be able to get the votes of those who are disappointed due to policies of BSP and SP.

The other reason for this attitude could be his indication that Congress sitting in opposition in case of triangular assembly. According to some Congress leader, if no party achieves clear majority than UP is ready to face President Rule. After few months when repolls will occurs it will go in favor of Congress. There are some Congress person still opposed the Rahul Gandhi policy of solitary nature. They believe Congress along with SP and RLD will form the government.

Lack of youth leadership in BJP and BSP

Bhartiya Janta Party fielded Uma Bharti seems younger than other party leaders. She should prove as a effective leader in Bundelkhand region but inside the party she fought intensely.

As far as Bahujan Samaj Party is concerned only Mayawati is the main face. This time she not presented Satish Mishra same way in election campaign as she did last time. Also it is clear that bulging of youth leadership widely changes the future politics multiplicative forms.
