Nasiruddin Shah was born in Barabanki District of Uttarprdesh on 20 July 1950. Nasirrudin shah finished his primary study in St. Anselm's School (Ajmer) & St. Joseph's college at Nainital. He became a Graduate with arts in 1971 from Aligarh Muslim University & joined National school of Drama at New Delhi.

Nasiruddin Shah daughter's name is 'Heeba' form Manar sikai & two sons 'Imaad' & 'Vivaan' from Ratna pathak. Naseruddin & Ratna pathak were co-starred with eachother in 'Jane tu...ya jane na', 'Mirch masala' & ' The perfect murder'.

Acting career of Nasiruddin Shah


Nasirrudin shah finished his primary study in St. Anselm's School (Ajmer) & St. Joseph's college at Nainital. He did his graduation from Aligarh Muslim Umiversity in 1971. Nasiruddin also Joined to National school of Drama at New Delhi. Nasiruddin Shah became active in Indian cinema in 1975.

Masoom "Massom" movie of 1983 was an important movie for Nasiruddin's carrier. Nassiruddin's First commercially hit film was "HumPanch" which was released in 1980. He and his wife Ratna pathak acted together in the film: "The Perfect Murder " in 1988 based on H.R.F. Keating's Novels in English language. Nasiruddin shah played in some Sucessful films like 'Ghulami(85), Tridev(89), Vishwatma(95)etc. He played Mahatma Gandhi in the Kamal Hassan's 'Hey Raam' & a drunken coach of a deaf & mute boy in the film 'Iqbal' & won a best supporting actor National Film Award in 2006. In 'A Wednesday' his acting was critically aclimed by audience in 2008.
