Dudhwa National Park is situated in Lakhimpur Khiri District of Uttarpradesh on the foot of Himalayan terrain between the Nepal & India border. This Park was established in 1977. The combination of Dudhwa National Park & the Kishanpur wildlife sanctuary are known as the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve. Total area of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve is 883 sq. km. Including 680 sq. km. Dudhwa National Park & 203 sq. km. Kishanpur wildlife Sanctuary. Dudhwa is the most popular for the home town of tigers. It has most beautiful Sal jungles, Greenland & Swamps etc & five different species of deers like swamp deer, sambhar, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer etc.

Best time for visit to this Park is October to June. Dudhwa National Park provides a jeep, coaches & an elephant to view the wildlife inside the park. Forest Rest houses, Swiss Cottage Tents & Tharu Huts are provided by The Forest Department to stay the tourist.

Dudhwa national Park is well connected by Road & Rail. Dudhwa-Gauriphanta and Dudhwa-Candan Chauki PWD roads are passed away to Park. UPSRTC and private bus are available to Lakimpur, Bereilly, Palia, Delhi etc. Nearest Railway station is Dudhwa far away 4 km. from Park. Nearest airport is Lucknow which is well connected to Delhi & Mumbai.
