Even if you have traveled by bullet train of japan or longest Trans-Siberian Railway, missing to Mumbai Suburban Railway, will be like loosing much out of your experience. You might have heard many misconceptions or under estimations or menace about it , but only one experience will wash this all away. This life divides complete Mumbai city in two parts like eastern and central side of line called as Central Railways and western as Western Railways. Types of classes:

first class:
This is somewhat elite kind of transport at the cost of considerably more amount of money. It is around 10 times costlier than general class ticket. But surely you will get cozy mean of transport. But yes at the peak time of rush , classes will hardly be considered .

e.g. from Mumbai central to Bandra it will take 50 to 60 Rs.

Second or general class :
Even if you are ready to pay for first class i will suggest you to go for general class, it really will be a bold experience.

e.g. from Mumbai central to Bandra it will take 5 to 6 Rs.
