Puri is situated over a distance of 62kms away from state capital. It is with one of the most beautiful beaches of the world on the eastern coast of Bay of Bengal that attracts millions of tourists annually. Konark which is situated at a distance of 65km from state capital and 40km from Puri on the marine drive which is famous for the Sun temple as well as the Nabhagraha temple, Archaeological museum and Golden beach of Chandrabhaga. It is popularly known as Arka Kshetra.
