Rex, good information about the Rang Ghar. It is the symbol of enjoyment in the past and in the present also. The name Rang Ghar itself means that it is a house of enjoyment. In the present time also buffalo fights are arranged in front of it during the bihu. Now it is decorated by the tourism department. There are two parks in front of it for the amusement of the tourists.
