About Dalhousie


Dalhousie is an enchanting hill resort of Himachal Pradesh. It was found in 1853 and was named after Lord Dalhousie- the Governer General of British India between 1854 and 1856.

Places to visit


There are many places in Dalhousie which tourists likes very much. Some of them are listed below.

St. Andrew's church


It is also known as Church of Scotland. It was built in the year 1903. It is 1.5 kms from Dalhousie's bus stand.

St. Patrick's Church


This Church is situated in Baloon Dalhousie, on Military Hospital road. It is 2 kms away from the bus stand. It was built in 1909.

Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan and Hospital


The satsang bhawan is situated near Moti Tibba. The present Radha Swami Chief Maharaj Gurinder Singh visits Dalhousie twice a year.

It is situated on the Mall Road between Gandhi Chowk and Subhash Chowk.

Bara Pathar


It us 4 km away from the Dalhousie. The temple of Bhulwani Mata is situated here.

How to reach


The nearest airport is at Gaggal and is 140 km fro Dalhousie.
Pathankot is the nearest railway stationand is 80 km from Dalhousie.
