Baspa Valley in Kinnaur
Baspa Valley is among the popular valleys of Kinnaur. This valley is also known by Sangla valley. The starting point of this valley is from Karcham(1899 mts). At this point, the Baspa River coming from the earthern side joins with Satluj River. This valley's branch is connected till Hindustan Tibet road at the river junction in north and Satluj Bridge towards the south. They little houses, temples and people of this valley together show the perfect scenery of this beautiful valley.
Sangla is one of the important villages of Baspa valley. This village is situated on the right bank of the Baspa River. Kamru Fort of Baspa is another attraction in this valley where thousands of tourists come to see this beautiful structure of early Rajas of Kinnaur. At this place, many kings of Kinnaur were crowned. Presently, this famous fort is dedicated to Kamakshi Temple where Goddess idol of Guwahati was brought.
This Sangla Valley located in Kinnaur at the upper HP. Kinner Kailash Peak is very popular in this valley is is also known as the Winter homw of Lord Shiva.
