Story behind this fair
This fair is celebrated in the Renuka place in the memory of great lady Renuka who is the mother of Parshu Ram. It is believed that in ancient times Renuka cursed by the Jadgamini, so her husband and child kills her. So the people of that area remember for a long year for her sacrifice. So in the memory of this lady people celebrated Renuka fair every year in the month of the November and this fair comes 11 days after the Diwali, it will continue for the three days. In this fair all the Devi and Devata from the nearby villages are taken to the lake in the morning and they are bathed in the holy Renuka lake and they are placed in the temple which is on the corner on this lake, and in the afternoon people take blessing from these Gods and in the evening these are taken back to the their place. In this fair so many people came, in which so many shops are present people buy different things and enjoy this fair. On the last day of this fair there is a wrestling event are held in which so many participants participated and who win this will get a cash prize and a gift is given by the chief guest.
