'National Integration Day' Being observed in HP

Indira Gandhi was the first women Prime Minister of the Independent India. She died during the time period of her 4th PM in 1984. So her birthday being observed as National Integration Day on 19th of November. Indira Gandhi was a single child of P. Jwahar Lal Nehru, who is the first Prime Minister of the Independent India. She was born on the 19th of the November in 1917 in Allahabad in UP. She studied from the Oxford University United Kingdom, but she did not complete her education because during that time her mother died, which is suffering with Tuberculosis in Switzerland, so she failed in the exam and came back she came back to the India and started her luck in political and in 1966, she became the Nation's first women Prime Minister. She was the 2nd women in the world who became the Prime Minister of the nation. She was elected for the 3 times for the PM of the country. During her 4th time period of her PM she died on 31st October in 1954 at New Delhi.
National Integration Day being observed Himachal Pradesh state
The birth anniversary of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi being observed as National Integration Day in the Himachal Pradesh. This week is also marked as commencement of the National Integration Week.
On this occasion Governor Urmila Singh paid floral tributes garlanding a portrait of the former Prime Minister. She administered the National Integration Pledge to all the officers and employees of the Raj Bhawan and urged them to work with dedication to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the nation.
On this occasion Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal also paid floral tributes to the statue of Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on the Ridge. On this behalf he also joined the state Congress President Raja Virbhadra Singh and other opposition ministers.
On this occasion the Deputy Commissioner of Shimla also paid tributes to the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi statue on the Ridge ground.
On this occasion various leader explained about the development work done by the Late PM during her time period in Himachal Pradesh, like they give Luhnu Bridge in Bilaspur district during her conference in Bilaspur during her time period of PM.
