Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) was initially formed by the central government in association with state government in the 1982. It was formed to provide the education to the children of the staff of the Indian Army including the other candidates. So on the occasion of its Foundation Day, Army Public School, Yol situated in the Dharamshala held a function on the 29th April in the school in which students have performed so many cultural programs.


Main Attraction
On 29th May, Army Public School, Yol situated in the Dharamshala, Kangra district organizes a function on the basis of Foundation Day of Army Welfare Education Society. This society was formed in order to provide education to the children of the Army officer and other staff.


In the country, there are about 133 army public schools, 246 army primary school and 12 profession universities are situated across the country. In these school and colleges everyone can take admission but they have to firstly qualify the entrance examination conducted by the school and in you will qualify the examination than on the basis of marks obtained in the examination you will get the admission in these school and university.


On the Foundation Day children of this school perform so many cultural programs like dance etc. Children have also performed the dance on the South Indian dance. The chief guest of the ceremony was the principle of the school and on the same day he also addresses the students. Student of the 7th class also have read the poem in the function which is based on the Army life.


Principle of the school also addresses the students and told him about the Army Welfare Education Society, and also told him about the purposes of this society and why it is formed and also told the achievements of this society across the country.
