Jamalabad Fort

An inaccessible cave in monsoons which is having a 6 feet Varaha statue and another temple of Goddess Bhagavathi are the two main attractive places here. Lakya is the tributary of Bhadra river, this is the place of check dam which was built by Kudremukh Iron Ore Company at an height of 100 meters, the main purpose of this dam is to collect waste materials out of the mining operations and contents here are more a silt than a water.
