Sringeri is a small town with very reasonable budget accommodations in Sringeri which do not dent you wallet too much. These accommodations are primarily lodges which provide comfortable lodgings for both individuals and groups. The temple administration also provides accommodation in rooms at its guest houses/ lodges.

4. Sringeri Mutt Guest Houses: The Sringeri Mutt provides rooms to tourists at reasonable rates (less than Rs.100/-), for comfortable rooms with hot water available. Lodges of the Sringeri Mutt include Yatri Nivas, Sri Sharada Kripa , Sri Bharathi Vihar and Sri Shankara Krupa. Facilities include: Hygienic washrooms and STD/ISD phone facilities.

Important Tip: It is best to book rooms at private lodges Sringeri and at the Sringeri Mutt lodges well in advance. When festivals are scheduled in Sringeri, it is very difficult to get accommodations at Sringeri at the last minute. Also, it is advisable to inform in advance the number of people in the group, otherwise you could well find yourself with a room which has fewer beds than the desired number.
